And what if their first car was a legendary one?
A partnership with Audi AG to recreate a legendary car
We had already recreated a Silver Arrow in partnership with Mercedes-Benz, so we couldn't pass up this golden opportunity: to make a Roadster under Audi AG's license, in the spirit of the mythical Auto Union Type C, another legendary Silver Arrow!
Created in 1936 by the famous engineer Ferdinand Porsche and driven by Bernd Rosemeyer, the Auto Union Type C made its mark in history. Rosemeyer, behind the wheel of this incredible 16-cylinder car, became European driving champion in 1936 and set the speed record in 1937 by exceeding 406 km/h!
Auto Union Type C Roadster version for our little drivers
To recreate this car as a ride-on toy for car enthusiasts and their children, we took the chassis of our metal Roadster and added the key elements of the Type C: the logo with the 4 interlocking rings featuring “Auto Union”, the design of the wheels, and the grille behind the seat (or should we say "the driver's seat"!).
To add a touch of elegance, the steering wheel is dressed in camel. You'd almost need to put on driving gloves to take this miniature rocket out for a spin!
From 18 months, your child transforms into a racing champion
Our Roadster Auto Union Type C is available, like our other Roadsters, from 18 months up to 3 years. It’s never too early to fall in love with cars!
Behind the wheel of their ride-on toy, your child will imagine themselves winning countless races (just like Bernd Rosemeyer!), even if it will be tough to beat the record of 406 km/h.
To perfect its retro look from the 30s, the racing set will be just right!
Roadster Auto Union Type C: a prestigious gift
Giving a vintage ride-on Baghera is already a lovely gift. Giving a ride-on Baghera under Audi AG's license, capturing the essence of a car as mythical as the Auto Union Type C, is absolutely THE gift.
Not to mention that you can also give it to an adult: they might not ride it, but our Roadster also makes a fantastic decorative piece in a living room or a child's bedroom.
So, shall we take the plunge?
