The time has come. Your final year at the Horribilorum Academy of Witchcraft and Wizardry for Witches and Spiritual Wizards is almost over, and it's time for your final exams!

The rules haven't changed a bit: take the Ingredients from the Laboratory Dispenser to finish your Potions. Don't forget that the explosions you're bound to cause can prove useful! The use of Potions concocted during this exam is permitted and highly recommended! Use them wisely to fine-tune your work, and you'll prove that you're worthy of becoming full-fledged witches and wizards. Dear students, it's time for the Potions final exam! Don't forget that to win the Apprentice of the Year Award, speed is not enough. You'll also have to prepare the most precious Potions!

The recipe for a good potion!

To prepare your Potions, take an Ingredient marble from the Dispenser each turn, and cause collisions between Ingredients of the same color to make them explode (and take them in the process)! The more violent the explosions, the faster you can prepare your Potions! A Potion's formula comprises between 4 and 7 Ingredients represented by holes in its tile. Place beads of the required color on the holes in the Potion tiles. Once all the holes have been filled, the Potion is complete. Each Potion is worth a certain number of points, depending on the number of Ingredients needed to complete it and the magical power it confers. When a player completes 3 Potions of the same power, or 5 Potions of 5 different powers, he receives a Skill token, worth 4 points. The game ends when all the Competence tokens in the stack have been allocated.

The game ends when you have collected enough Competence tokens. But don't forget that to win the Apprentice of the Year Award, you'll have to concoct the most complex and precious potions!
