Use your stroller as your baby’s first stroller with our ergonomic carrycot.
With our carrycots as accessories, you can transform your Samba 2, Salsa 5 Run, or your double stroller Zoom 2 into a baby stroller from birth and use it for your little one right from the start. The principle is very simple. You remove the seat unit and place the carrycot on the chassis of your stroller.
The carrycot accompanies you during the first months of your child's life. Thanks to its larger-than-average sleeping surface, your baby always benefits from plenty of space and comfort until the end of the carrycot period and the transition to the sports seat, even as their little legs grow longer and your baby becomes increasingly mobile in the carrycot.
Your baby will feel comfortable and safe from day one and will drift off to sleep peacefully in their stroller, as our carrycots are perfectly suited to the needs of the youngest. This way, you can meet your baby’s sleep needs and provide the comfort necessary for a healthy sleep, even on the go. For healthy sleeping comfort and an optimal sleeping climate, all our carrycots are equipped with our premium CozyCloud® mattress for strollers. The breathable cold foam with point elasticity, the ideally adapted firmness level, and the integrated air channels ensure optimal support and ventilation, while its ergonomic design, with a wedge-shaped headrest and an externally adjustable headrest, guarantees a healthy sleeping position. The height adjustment, and thus the ability to raise the head, is particularly beneficial for newborns with reflux symptoms.
The CozyCloud® mattress cover regulates humidity, is breathable, and particularly suitable for allergy sufferers. Additionally, it features an extra-soft raised protective edge to prevent your little one's sensitive scalp from coming into direct contact with the lower ventilation window of the carrycot. Two ventilation windows are integrated in total. They can be used individually and ensure optimal air circulation in the carrycot. Plus, they allow you to keep an eye on your baby and let them discover the world while you’re out and about. Thanks to the fine mesh, your baby is protected from mosquitoes and insects, even the smallest ones, when the ventilation windows are open.
Your baby is also protected by the removable windproof cover, the large UPF 50+ sunshade of the carrycot, and the water-repellent fabrics. The carrycot’s canopy can be easily adjusted, either by extending it forward depending on the sunlight or by opening it fully if needed. The new memory function of the canopy support makes adjustment simple and comfortable. With just one click, you can release the support one by one. Following the same memory principle, you also unlock the carrycot support one after the other, allowing you to keep one hand free to hold the carrying handle. This way, you can remove the carrycot from your stroller’s chassis even more easily and safely.
The folding mechanism of the carrycot, accessible from the outside, also offers particular comfort for parents. Thanks to two handy sliders located under the carrycot, you can quickly and easily fold it flat and store it in the car boot to save space. This way, you can head off in the car with your baby for your next outing.
To ensure that bottles, pacifiers, bibs, and more have their place, a handy organizer with an extra pocket for utensils is included. It easily clips onto the foot of the carrycot and protects the most important items, like your wallet or house keys, from unwanted access. Of course, you can also attach this practical and stylish accessory to the stroller’s handle using the ABC Design support. This way, you always have the bib, pacifier, or baby toys within reach.
