The 60D polyester is a tear-resistant and water-repellent fabric. Additionally, the fabric is double-coated and has a very smooth surface with a structured fabric look (also known as half Panama). It is a very versatile fabric; it can be used for making all types of kites, but can also be used for wind chimes and banners.
As the material is very slippery, we recommend using a polyester thread for sewing the fabric. The 60D polyester cannot be glued.
